Our President

Bob Crane is co-founder and president of N2 Ingredients Inc. based in Oakville, ON. After obtaining a business degree from Ryerson University in 1995, Bob started the food division at a large Canadian based agricultural trading house. In 2004, Bob combined his experience from the food industry with his entrepreneurial spirit and co-founded N2 Ingredients Inc.

A young and dynamic company -- N2 Ingredients is a leader in the supply of organic and natural ingredients to the food processing industry.

N2 Ingredients won The 2009 Oakville Award of Business Excellence, Small Company of the Year, presented by the Oakville Chamber of Commerce and the Oakville Rotary Club. N2 Ingredients has been ranked by Profit Magazine as one of Canada’s emerging growth companies as part of their 2007 and 2008 annual Profit Hot 50 list. In July 2008, Bob was honoured as an Ontario finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Active in the advancement of the food industry, Bob served as the Chair of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology – Toronto Chapter from 2007-2008.

Bob is a featured speaker at Field to Fork – a non-profit initiative to get high school and elementary school students interested in careers in the food industry. Bob has also been instrumental in providing loans through the KIVA organization. KIVA’s mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty.

An avid aviator, Bob takes to the skies on his time off. He is also bassist and vocalist for the band Japhy.

Bob lives in Milton, ON with his wife and two children.

Jill Baxter

Co-founder and Vice President of Operations

Jill Baxter - VP of Operations N2 IngredientsJill Baxter is co-founder and vice president of N2 Ingredients Inc., based in Oakville ON. A young and dynamic company founded in 2004-- N2 Ingredients is a leader in the supply of organic and natural ingredients to the food processing industry. Jill plays a hands-on-role in managing the day to day operations of the company by aligning and executing operational plans to strategic plans while working with all members of the team. In her role, she oversees Product Management and Quality Assurance ensuring compliance and continual enhancement. Jill evaluates systems, processes and recommends continuous improvements for the organization.

After graduating Fanshawe College in 1993 with a diploma in Business followed by a Marketing diploma from the Toronto School of Business in 2001, Jill worked as marketing manager for a large Canadian based agricultural trading house from 2001-2004.

Jill has served on the board of directors of Soyfoods since 2006. She is also active with the Women’s Culinary Institute and WFIM, (Women in Food Industry Management). Since 2008, Jill has been member of TEC Key Executive Program, a leadership organization designed for professional development for business leaders where she attends monthly peer-group sessions with other senior executives.

Jill lives in Toronto and enjoys golfing in the summer and skiing in the winter. Her hobbies include pottery making and running.
